		<description><![CDATA[60 years have passed since I lived in the Alameda neighborhood and attended Alameda grade school.  However when visit  Portland I am still often asked, &quot;Where did you attend grade school?&quot;  And I proudly reply, &quot;Alameda&quot;,&quot;  And I still receive such positive comments.  Such as,&quot;Oh my children go there now, and &quot; Isn&#039;t that a wonderful school?&quot;
 Alameda still gains respect for quality and I am proud that I lived there and attended school there years ago..]]></description>
